Every once in a while, though, I think of something that may be big. Oh, and I won't be sharing those good ideas until I can put them in the "completed" area! Completed! In August 2009 I filed a provisional patent for an electric-assist bicycle trailer. A load sensor in the trailer hitch tells the trailer how much to throttle up its onboard motor, and using a closed-loop PID control system the trailer is always trying to maintain a towing force of zero!
