flfordguy's Profile:

49 year old male retired from Law Enforcement in Central Florida.
Retirement gives you lots of time to think, things you could have done, should have done, want to do. I certainly realize I have far fewer years ahead of me than have passed. My wife can't retire yet so I'm somewhat limited on things I can do such as travel, unless I go it alone, which wouldn't be much fun.

Completely learn and perfect a complex guitar song
hmmmm.... I have to give this one lots of thought. Maybe Pachelbel's Canon?

Summit Mt. Kilimanjaro
Possible 2nd choice of hiking to Mt. Everest Base Camp. I'm not sure which one will be more rewarding. I'm sure they will both be physically challenging enough.

Take a cruise on a Sailing Ship
This has to be a ship with full sails anywhere but the Caribbean. Maybe around Italy or the Mediterranean.

Stay in a Castle! My wife wants to ride a horse in Ireland, I think I may have to opt for a motorcycle on the roads of Ireland.

Completed!
Went in Paris in October 2009 with a little side trip to Germany we did as much as possible in the week my wife and I were there. Wasn't impressed with the people the food or the culture but the sites....

The food, people, and culture are what keeps bringing us back to France! Although we did run into a rude Parisian once. But to be fair, I've run into many more rude New Yorkers!

Did you run into some rude Frenchmen?
